SlutRoulette Review

SlutRoulette first presents you with a home page that looks like a slutty version of ChatRoulette (hence the name), but that’s really just a tease. Behind it is really a webcam site, with a large selection of models (mostly female, though all genders/orientations are represented). The interface might look familiar to many, as all the webcam sites run by parent company ICF use the same basic layout. Most typical cam site features are present, providing various show types, Cam2Cam functionality, tipping, messaging of models, and much more.

This site is one of many white label sites produced by ICF Technology, Inc. of Seattle, Washington, USA. They have literally thousands of white label sites with a similar interface and the same base of models, features, etc. Like most white labels, however, accounts, credits, and similar do not transfer between one site and the others.

SlutRoulette Chat Costs

SlutRoulette allows models to set their own chat costs, which are variable and range from $0.99 on the low end to $8.99 on the high end (per minute), for both private chats and exclusive chats. We can’t rule out that the top prices might be higher – we’ve just not run into anyone requesting a higher price during our review sessions. There are also Gold Shows, which are usually a cheaper option, where the model sets a donation amount and a countdown, and members in the free chat need to contribute that much before the countdown ends, in order to enter a group private show, or the donations are refunded and no show occurs.

Private shows can have multiple viewers, and there is no spy mode – you’re either in and participating, or not. Exclusive shows offer the true 1 on 1 experience with the performer. These generally cost more than the private shows, usually double or more than the per minute rate of a private show for the same model (but again, the rate is set by the models, so this is only an average). The Gold Shows are quite popular because they are the cheaper option – usually costing only a few dollars in contribution for a show that can be 10 or 15 minutes, or even more, depending on how many people and what goal the model has set.

One nice thing about SlutRoulette, like all ICF sites, is that they don’t use a token or credit system to try to hide or obscure the true costs of things. We really appreciate that – it means you don’t have to try to do mental math while you’re trying to jerk your cock or flick your bean. While they do have a kind-of currency, “gold”, which is only used to tip models and for Gold Show donations, it’s not something separate that you buy – rather, it just represents $1, always, and comes from the same pool of deposited funds you use on the site. All private and exclusive show costs are expressed in dollars per minute rates.

Other than the Gold Show prices, which we’ve touched on above, we can only report the ranges of potential costs for private and exclusive shows. The average, we should note, is around $3 for private, and $7 for exclusive, per minute, but again, this can vary quite a bit from model to model.

What this all means is that SlutRoulette prices, on the lower end of the range, are cheaper than many other cam sites. On average, they’re about…average. And on the high end, they can be a little to a lot more than other cam sites. It all depends on the model and their perceived popularity, since they set the rate to whatever they choose. Gold Shows are often the best option in terms of bang for your buck – the only downside is you’re never alone with the model in a Gold Show, and they can do what they want, it’s not directed or request-based (usually) like private or exclusive.

One other note on costs – there are no paid membership or VIP options here, unlike some other sites. All accounts are free, either guests (unregistered), free premium (registered with a valid credit card on file (pre-paid/gift credit cards work fine for this), and premium, meaning you’ve made at least a $25 minimum deposit at least once. There’s a rewards program which can bump up your account levels once you are premium, but it’s mostly a vanity thing, used to show models who the big spenders are, and there’s precious little information about it on the site. It’s also automatic, based on spending and deposits, so nothing to fret over one way or the other.

Model Manifest

Simply put, SlutRoulette, and all of the ICF-run sites, have a great and varied catalog of models working for them. While most who are on at any particular time are female, and the default home page (after you get through the ChatRoulette-style teaser) only lists Girls on the sidebar, the search and advanced search reveal the true scope. Solo girls, lesbians, heterosexual couples, groups, solo guys, gay couples, solo transsexuals, and any mix of transsexual couples are all present in the catalog, with varying numbers on at any particular time. ICF doesn’t reveal their total catalog of registered models, but it is estimated that there are over 130,000.

Like many cam sites, there’s a good mix of body types, ages, countries, ethnicities, and similar represented. There are also a number of categories which cater to some basic fetishes and attributes, like foot fetish, muscular, pregnant, smoking, etc. There are usually 1,250 to 1,600 models on at any particular time, about 90% of which are solo females.

Another important thing about the model catalog is that SlutRoulette, and all ICF network sites, have a good catalog of pornstars who regularly cam on the sites – not just for one-off features occasionally, but regular, almost-every-day appearances. There are close to 300 total registered pornstar cam models, and usually a few to a half dozen are on at any particular time. It should be no surprise to anyone that such a large base of models and extensive number of white label sites that ICF runs mean that all the most common cam site features can be found here. Our only minor gripe is that, while interactive toys are fully supported, there’s no sort, filter, or search criteria to specifically browse or see only models who are using interactive toys. Aside from that, though, the full range of features includes:

• Free teaser chats, that will show some tits and ass, but generally very little in terms of sexual content (pussy and cock are not allowed in free chats per rules)
• Private Chats, fully explicit, with 1 or more viewers paying a set per minute price

Sexy Systems

ICF is one of the largest webcam site companies around, and so SlutRoulette runs like a charm. The top technology behind-the-scenes means the site loads quickly, doesn’t get slowed down or hung up browsing video feeds or searching for models, and is generally easy to use. Chats themselves are quite reliable, with no congestion or hiccups, and good quality video, even in full HD. Premium users can filter to see just HD streams, or all streams.

Navigating and finding your desired models is pretty easy. Aside from a “recently viewed” list and your favorites list, you can browse by gender, sort with a few filters at the top (for premium members only) like HD, region, chat language, etc., search directly by name in the search box, use the list of 35+ filter categories on the side bar, or use the advanced search. The latter includes tabs for girls, boys, couples, and trans, and about 10 different filtering categories with a bunch of options for each tab, including things like pubic hair style, cock length/breast size, body type, age, and similar.

As mentioned above, interactive toys are supported, but there’s no filter or way to tell which models are or aren’t using the interactive toys. Still, most who do use them use them in tip mode, and list it in their bio or chat information once you’re in the chat. The chat interface is pretty straightforward, with features clearly labeled and easy to use.

Pros:

SlutRoulette is a pretty good all-around cam site. Aside from the initial tease, that makes you think this isn’t a cam site, it’s all pretty straightforward and easy-to-use. The multiple show types and variable model-set pricing mean there’s usually some models and shows to fit even the smallest of budgets, at reasonable prices. We give bonus points for the regular presence of numerous verified pornstars, and double bonus points for operating in real world currency rather than tokens or credits. It may not be exactly what you expect from the teaser page or the name SlutRoulette, but as a cam site, it definitely delivers the sluts.
